Two acres Β· St Cross South Elmham, Harleston
The Dog Club.
Weekly group training on our own two-acre paddock. Saturday runs as the Norfolk & Suffolk IGP Club β and you are welcome whether you are doing IGP or not. Bring what you're working on and we'll work on it.

01 β The sessions
Two sessions a week, on our own ground.
Not a village hall and not a car park. Two acres where a dog can actually be worked at distance, off lead, around other dogs.

Norfolk & Suffolk IGP Club
Four hours of working training. It runs as an IGP club β tracking, obedience and protection under proper structure β but the door is open. Come with a pet dog and a recall problem and that's what we'll work on. You get the standard of a working club applied to whatever you actually need.
β Open to IGP handlers and pet owners alike
β Work on whatever you bring
β Four hours β time to actually get somewhere
Thursdays Β· from 18:00 till late
Thursday Evening Dog Club
Midweek group training on the same ground. Useful in its own right β lower light, quieter roads and a different set of distractions to Saturday. Good if weekends don't work, and good for dogs that need more than one session a week.
β Evening session, runs on into the dark
β Same coaching, different conditions
β Proofing in low light is worth more than people think

Two acres, right on the border
We sit on the NorfolkβSuffolk border, a few minutes from Harleston. Easy from Norwich, Diss, Bungay, Beccles and Halesworth.

02 β What happens
How a session runs.
Arrive and settle
Dogs out, leads on, everyone settles before anything starts. Half the work is teaching a dog to arrive somewhere busy and switch off.
Work the plan
You work on what your dog needs, not a fixed syllabus. I move between handlers and coach individually while the group works.
Proof it
We add the pressure the group makes possible β distance, distraction, other dogs moving, recalls across the field.
Take it home
What to practise before next week, written up in The Paddock so you're not relying on memory.
05 β The IGP club
Norfolk & Suffolk IGP Club.
IGP is the sport that built most of what I know β tracking, obedience and protection, judged to a standard that doesn't care how you feel about your dog. Saturdays are built around it.
The Saturday session is open to everyone
Anyone can book a Saturday place. Come with a pet dog and a recall problem and that is what we will work on β you get a working club's standard applied to whatever you need.
to all
Club membership is by invitation
Joining the Norfolk & Suffolk IGP Club itself is different. Membership is invite-only β it depends on the dog, the handler and the commitment the sport asks for. Train with us on Saturdays and that conversation happens naturally.
invitation
Members get the run of the paddock
That is what the invitation is actually worth. Club members train on the ground whenever they want β not just in session hours. Two acres, tracking room, and space to work a dog properly on your own schedule.
any time
Curious rather than committed
Come and watch first. Most people who end up in the sport arrived with a pet dog and no intention of competing.

Saturday places are open to anyone Β· IGP club membership is by invitation only
06 β Seminars & courses
Guest seminars on the paddock.
Two acres and a working club means we can host properly. Visiting trainers and specialists, run as day or weekend seminars β open to members and to anyone serious enough to travel for it.
Guest trainer seminars
Specialists brought in for a day or a weekend β tracking, protection, obedience detail, or behaviour. Working and auditing places.
weekend
Short courses
Focused blocks on one subject, run over a few weeks. Small numbers, same ground, real progress rather than a taster.
Members hear first
Seminar places go to club and Dog Club members before they go public. The good ones do not last.
booking
β READY TO POPULATE β no seminars listed yet because none are confirmed. I have deliberately not named any guest trainer (including Hans) until they have agreed and a date exists. Each seminar becomes a Kajabi Event plus an Offer, with working and auditing places priced separately. Send me a name, a date and a price and it goes live.
03 β Who it's for
Straight about who this suits.
This is for you if
Your dog is fine at home and falls apart outside it.
β You've done the basics and need to proof them
β You can get to Norfolk weekly
β You'll practise between sessions
Start elsewhere if
Your dog can't yet cope near other dogs.
β Serious reactivity β start 1:1, then join the club
β You're outside reasonable travel β look at residential
β You want the dog trained without you there
07 β Pricing
Come once, or come as often as you like.
Both sessions are open to members and to anyone paying per session. Four Saturdays at Β£30 is Β£120 β so if you're coming weekly, the membership is the cheaper way to do it.
